Ryan's Renewable Energy Passion Project

Introduction
Hi, my name is Ryan, and I'm currently an 8th grader studying in Hong Kong. I’ve always been interested in science, particularly in renewable energy and how we can help the planet. Through our school program, I had the chance to go to Vietnam and complete a solar lighting project to help the locals there. This experience sparked my interest in renewable energy to understand how it works and explore both the benefits and challenges of applying renewable energy sources.
I later attended a summer program on environmental policy in America, visited a renewable energy lab at the University of Queensland in Australia, and learned about the current state of renewable energy in Taiwan while visiting family there. Currently, I’m documenting my exploration on this personal website where I share the process and insights I’ve gained along the way. This field is fascinating because it combines cutting-edge science with everyday life, and I hope to have the opportunity to continue more in-depth research in the future.
